✯ Day 311 of Vintage 365 ✯
Though I can see some of your your eyebrows shooting up a tad over the title of this post, and I know many of us are still cleaning up the aftermath of Halloween, there's little sense in ignoring the fact that Christmas is just 48 days away.
Seriously, only 48 days. I double checked. While that number might not sound too miniscule, it really just leaves us with seven weeks in which to accomplish all of the things that come part and parcel with this festive, merry, endlessly busy of the year.
For many of us this laundry list includes going to holiday parties, be they with colleges, friends, family or evenings spent attending all of three (hopefully not on the same night though!).
As such you're probably already starting to think about your holiday wardrobe. Chances are you have some lovely pieces on hand, such as classic cocktail dresses, sparkly jewelry, and classic pencil skirts that can be dressed up or down to create a myriad of looks.
While some of us might need several new pieces, others may only be planning to pick up one or two new items to see us through the coming party season. No matter where you fall on the scale, the gorgeous pair of red satin peep toe heels below are some of the most Christmas worthy shoes I've come across in a good while.
Sporting alluring 4 inch heels, these ravishing crimson peep-toe pumps (from Retro Cuties) with their darling bows (instantly calling to mind Christmas present wrapping, in the most lux and elegant of ways) are not only beautiful and completely versatile, they're also a total steal at just $31.99.
Available in ladies full sizes spanning 6 to 12, these eye-catching vintage inspired satin shoes strike me as having the ability to either steal the wardrobe shoe or meld subtly into the background of a fancy outfit, depending on what else you pair them with. And that, in my books, is one of the most important hallmarks of a good holiday season piece.
You want an item (or pair of items, in this case) to feel exciting and hold the promise of sartorial possibility each time you put it on, which I get the distinct feeling these chic pin-up girl approved heels would certainly do.
Hi just found your blog! Love these sweet shoes! Not sure where I'd wear them but love them just the same!
ReplyDelete48 days til Christmas is insane. We just had a huge Halloween Party and I can't get all that put away without Christmas decor in your face everytime you head out the door. The neighbors were putting up lights yesterday, crazy!

i'm swooning!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear Jessica, I haven't had much computer time this week...and I have really missed you. I am in definite need of a fix of your blog. Also, I am in the midst of writing you an email...forgive me for taking so long.
ReplyDeleteThese shoes are totally gorgeous. I am in definite need of a pair of red shoes, though in reality, these wouldn't be practical for everyday wear. I could just see me walking into the grocery store in the middle of the afternoon with those on my feet!! Probably a 2 inch peep-toe, slingback would be better suited for every day. Now if I could just convince my husband that we needed to dress up and go out, I might could justify these shoes.
Hugs,
Patti
